SAMR Model

technology in teaching. It’s divided into two branches and which are
Transformation and Enhancement. Each branches are also divided into two branches.
Enhancement:
Substition:
Technology acts as direct tools with functional improvement and it uses the
traditional way.
Augmentation:
Technology acts as direct tool without functional improvement. It reproduces
the previous practice. Creating an e-book could be an example of augmentation.
Transformation:
Redefiniton:
It is the creation of new tasks. Students are in charge of education.
Modification:
It allows for significant task redesign. There’s interaction between students in
practices. Modifying the previous practice by keeping the heart of the matter
is crucial.
