 Kahoot! is a cloud-based quiz platform that is ideal for students and teachers. It works for hybrid learning and flipped classroom situations by making learning fun and engaging. You can create your own quiz or use the quizzes other users created.

At its most basic, Kahoot! offers a question and then optional multiple choice answers. This can be accompanied with rich media such as images and videos to add more interactivity.  It’s very ideal for online education as well!

You can create these kind of quizzes for you students. You can also set the timing for each question. Kahoot! can help you with quick assessment whether your students keep up with the lesson as well.

Nearpod is a tool that can help teachers make the class interactive. Teachers can create interactive presentations that include contents like videos, pdfs and audios or activities like polls, tests, open ended questions, matching pairs and quizzes. Students can gain access to these presentations through links and codes that teachers share with them. Teachers can share these materials either as live participation or student-paced.     Here's an example of Nearpod presentation. This is a powepoint slide I created a while ago but I added some contents on it with the help of Nearpod. We can add time limit and state a point for each question. Before saving this interactive presentation, we can also preview it.  Teachers can assign homeworks to their students. Students can engage on their own time as well! Teachers can provide a student paced code and they can access the Nearpod lesson at home, or anywhere with internet connection. Teachers can also create some mini games for students. T

Virtual Reality

  Virtual Reality (VR) is the use of computer technology to create a simulated environment.  By simulating as many senses as possible, such as vision, hearing, touch, even smell, the computer is transformed into a gatekeeper to this artificial world. The only limits to near-real VR experiences are the availability of content and cheap computing power. Virtual reality can improve education by providing students with memorable and immersive experiences that would otherwise not be possible, it can all take place within the classroom. VR is accessible to every student and can be easily monitored by teachers. Sutori

Sutori is a collaborative tool for creating and sharing interactive timelines and presentations. Teachers can create classes and in order for their students to join the class, they can send students codes to access shared timelines and create their own.
